THE TOWN OF WAYLAND, is in Middlesex County and is located only 19 miles west of Boston. The surrounding communities include Lincoln, Sudbury, Weston, Framingham and Natick. It was incorporated in 1780and today is a semi-rural open space town. A peaceful town that has little industry, Wayland is home to many urban professionals that work in and around Boston and the Worcester areas. It has an award winning school system, full service public library, full public forces with police and fire protection, recycling systems, public health and natural resource protection, youth and elder services.
