THE TOWN OF BROOKLINE, is a town in Norfolk county and is a part of Greater Boston. It was settled by the early colonists and its name came about because of the two rivers that lined its borders both on its north and southern boundry. It was known as the hamlet of Muddy River and was independently incorporated in 1705.
Brookline, just near the Back Bay area of Boston, is an affluent community offering convenient commutes to the city of Boston for its professional residents.
